Mark Langdon is the Nelson regions longest serving mortgage adviser having started in business as Langdon Mortgage Service back in 1994 after spending 12 years in the banking sector.

Langdon Mortgage Services then transformed into Mortgage Link Nelson, working along firstly Richard Harris and then when Richard retired, Ian French, which operated under that banner for 14 years until the business was sold to Lifetime in 2013.

I had been operating as an independent contractor until stepping back out and operating on my own in August 2016.

​

I enjoy being able to assist clients achieve their financial goals and obtain the home loan that suits them best. To this end I am always looking ahead in the loan application process, always looking at Plan A, B and C to ensure we all get the right result.

I believe in being honest and up front with my clients, even if sometimes it is not really what they want to hear. I do not believe in nasty surprises throughout the process.

As mortgage advisers we only get paid if the loan is approved and uplifted, so we are always looking for ways to ensure the loan is approved. This ensures that I am working very hard for you.

I have a large pool of lenders that I am working in partnership with to ensure you get the "best deal" for you and your financial situation.

I enjoy helping my clients to achieve their goals finding the right financial solution for them. There is no greater buzz for me than a successful outcome for my clients.

Outside my work, I enjoy camping during the summer months. I am a keen sports follower. There is nothing better than spending time with my family and friends in the fantastic Nelson/Tasman/Marlborough region
